Mary Margaret (Harrison) Evans

Mary Margaret Evans, 74, of Chattaroy, WV passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born July 22, 1949 at Hurricane; Turkey Creek, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Easter Ritz Harrison. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Roger Evans, a son, Christopher Mark Evans, sister, Gretchen Juanita Evans, and brothers, Sammy Ritz, Keith Nichols, and George Harrison. 

Margaret was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her daughters, Kammie Dotson of Nippa, KY and Kim Evans of Chattaroy, WV, her siblings, Ada Wolford of Matewan, WV, Gerri New of Matewan, WV, Roy (Susie) Harrison of Stone, KY, and David (Anna) Harrison of North Matewan, WV, 2 grandchildren, Paige Dotson and Daleaha Glass, 3 great grandchildren, Cade Wolford, Kainon Sincell, and Faith McCoy, a special sister-in-law, Sandy Smith of Chattaroy, and a host of other family and friends. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with Bro. John Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
