Matthew Dotson

Matthew Dotson, 43, of Stopover, KY passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Stopover, KY.  Born October 31, 1977 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of Ronnie Dotson of Phelps, KY and Joyce Hurley Layne of Stopover, KY.

Matt worked at helping move and set up mobile homes and he also loved to ginseng.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his companion, Traci Ferrell of Stopover, KY, 2 sons, Harley (Audriana) Dotson of Sidney, KY and Jacob (Chloe) Dotson of Belfry, KY, step-children, Kiana and Kylee Ferrell , Jessica Chafins, Jennifer Chafins, and Samuel Gross, one brother, Dwain Dotson of Majestic, KY, one sister, Tiffany Dotson of Freeburn, KY, his grandchildren, Colton Utterback, Hunter Dotson, Caselynn Anderson, Kobe Dotson, and Joshlynn Dotson.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

A memorial service honoring Matt's life will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Woodman Community Church at Woodman, KY with Pastor Odis Blankenship officiating.
