Michael Lloyd Charles

Michael Lloyd Charles, 53 of Meathouse Fork; Canada, KY passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home.  Born June 1, 1968 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Haven and Janie M. (Doyle) Charles.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Crabtree.

Michael was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and he was an auto mechanic.

Survivors include his loving companion, Deana Knight-Charles of Canada, KY, his children, Elisha G. Callaway of Canada, KY, Catina Lucy Oswald of Arizona, Michael L. Charles II of Arizona, Nichole Michelle Charles of Duluth, Minnesota, Jasmine N. Newsome of Forest Hills, KY, and Heaven Leigh Charles of Turkey Creek, KY, 2 brothers, Paul Short of Hardy, KY and Boyd Charles of Burnwell, KY, 4 sisters, Linda Walls of Burnwell, KY, Rebecca Breeden of Louisville, KY, Sharon Kraft-Charles of Louisville, KY, and Rosie Short of Cave City, KY, his grandchildren, Rylan Newsome, Bryleigh Newsome, Kasmira Newsome, Elam Callaway, Adalyn Callaway, Oliver Oswald, Olivia Oswald, Oakley Oswald, and 3 additional.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Burnwell Gospel Revelation Tabernacle with Delbert McCoy speaking.  Military honors will be presented by Belfry Chapter 141 of the Disabled American Veterans.
