Paul Michael Thomas

Paul Michael Thomas, 74, of Hardy, KY passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Born August 22, 1946 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late Earl and Bernice Stevens Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Thomas.

Paul as a former teacher and basketball coach having retired from both the Pike County and Mingo County school systems.  He attended the Hardy Church of Christ.

Survivors include his son, Keith (Erica) Thomas of Proctorville, OH, his daughter, Susan (Heather) Thomas of Lorain, OH, a granddaughter, Alli Thomas, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Ed Lockard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Buskirk Cemetery at Buskirk, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
