Ralph Allen Fitch

Ralph Allen Fitch, 68, of Sprigg, WV passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born September 16, 1953 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late Raymond and Faye Deskins Fitch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Judy Lee. 

Ralph was a retired coal miner from the Old Ben Coal Company and a member of the UMWA.  He loved to play golf and ride his motorcycle. 

Survivors include his sons, Phillip (Dayna) Fitch of Columbus, OH and Derek (Alyson) Fitch of McCarr, KY, a stepdaughter, Mary Lee of Sprigg, WV, one brother, Franklin (Wanda) Fitch of Merrimac, WV, three grandchildren, Sebastian, Hailee, and Kyleigh Fitch, longtime friends, Jackie Acord and Jimmy Chafins, and a host of other family and friends. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Fitch Cemetery at Merrimac, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.
