Ray Hill, 80, of Florence, KY passed away August 19, 2019 in Florence, KY. Born and raised at Beech Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Dennie and Allie Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly, a brother, Estel of Cincinnati, OH, a sister, Myrtle Hill of Dandridge, TN, and a baby sister, Corie.
Ray was a retired supervisor of maintenance for the Cincinnati Police Department F.O.P. Lodge and a former salesman for the George Kessen Wholesale Florist Co. Ray liked fixing things in his spare time and he could fix any and everything. He loved hunting, but his passion was restoring old cars.
Survivors include his loving wife, Becky Hill of Florence, KY, sons, Dennie Ray Hill of Forest Hills, KY and Jeff, brothers, Freeman Eugene (Rosalea) Hill of Red Jacket, WV, Hansford (Goldie) Hill of Beech Creek, WV, Roosevelt Hill of Cincinnati, OH, Harold (Joan) Hill of Frederick, MD, and Bill (Marian) Hill of Lenoir City, TN, sisters, Shirley Klamecki of Michigan, Ramona (Danny) Halley of Madison, WV, and Wanda Sue (Frank) Fitch of Williamson, WV, 6 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Ray’s cremains will be lovingly placed to rest with his family in the Hill Family Cemetery on Grapevine Fork at Beech Creek, WV on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
