Richard Marvin Noe

Richard Marvin Noe, 80, of Newtown, WV passed away suddenly, Friday, February 2, 2024 in the emergency room at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born March 24, 1943 in Glen Alum, WV, he was the son of the late George and Bessie Noe.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Noe, daughters, Vesta Louise Smith, Teresa Dean, Debbie Noe, and Karen Noe, and a brother, Floyd Noe.

Marvin was a retired coal miner with 37 years of service and a member of the UMWA.

Survivors include his fiancée, Lillie Baisden of Newtown, WV, his children, Karen (Robbie) Sipple of Chattaroy, WV, Kay Diamond of Chattaroy, WV, Leigh Ann Noe of Delbarton, WV, Jennifer (Brandon) Hatfield of Newtown, WV, Kelly Noe Gauze of Williamson, WV, Jacob Noe of Delbarton, WV, and Ethan Noe of Newtown, WV, a special stepdaughter who was like a daughter, Sabrina Baisden of Newtown, WV, a special granddaughter, Emily Columbia, his close friend, Dan Kinder of Newtown, WV, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Elder Thomas Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ellison Hatfield Cemetery at Newtown, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
