Robin Dawn (Hensley) Chafins

Robin Dawn Chafins, 59, of Tug Fork Apartments; Belfry, KY passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her home following an illness.  Born October 1, 1962 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Joyce Stafford Hensley.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Chafins, two sisters, Ge-Ve Preece and Kathy Stafford, and one brother, Timothy Hensley. 

Robin was a graduate of Lenore High School.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Joseph) Ziolo of Boca Raton, FL and Jessica Chafins of Turkey Creek, KY, one brother, Chris (Gaytha) Hensley of Maher, WV, one sister, Jocelyn (Ricky) Roberts of South Williamson, KY, two grandsons, Sebastian Chafins and Chase Chafins, her special Chafins family that she remained close to, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Maher Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Earl White officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday evening at the Maher Freewill Baptist Church.
