Rodney Justice

Rodney Justice, 56, of Hardy, KY passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Born July 4, 1965 in South Williamson, KY, he was the son of Mildred Phillips Justice of Hardy, KY and the late Ray Justice. 

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Tina Justice, on August 30, 2021, and a brother, Stephen Justice.

Rodney was a former coal miner and a member of the North Matewan Church of Christ.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his son, Stephen Justice of Hardy, KY, his daughter, Paula (Johnnie) Chapman of Canada, KY, 2 grandchildren, Johnnie Ray Chapman and Laura Jane Chapman, 3 brothers, David Justice, Ronald Justice, and Phillip (Kelly) Justice all of Hardy, KY, 3 sisters, Jane (Victor) Madero of Fayetteville, TN, Sheila (Ted) Simpkins of Beech Creek, WV, and Cheryl (Tilden) Staton of Russell Springs, KY.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Jessie Spaulding officiating.  Burial will follow in the Justice Family Cemetery at Hardy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Due to Covid19, those attending are highly encouraged to wear a mask at all time and practice social distancing.
