Ronald Terry “Ronnie” Tincher, 85, of Dandridge, TN formerly of South Williamson, KY passed away Saturday; December 6, 2025 at his home. Born May 14, 1940 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late Corbett J. and Ethel Faye Allen Tincher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Tincher; and two sisters, Debbie Yates and Bessie Dillon.
Ronnie was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army, a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, and attended the Leckieville Freewill Baptist Church when he was able.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Thacker Tincher of Dandridge, TN; two sons, Rod (Tara) Tincher of Louisa, KY and Keith (Kim) Tincher of Dandridge, TN; four grandchildren, Brooke (John) Cox of Louisville, KY, Jacob Tincher of Lexington, KY, Keaton Tincher of Dandridge, TN, and Travis Tincher of Louisa, KY; the first great-grandchild is on the way and due in January; one sister, Penny (Jay) Gibson of Paintsville, KY; sister-in-law, Norma Tincher of Westerville, OH; brother-in-law, Owen Yates of Seattle, WA; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday; December 10, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Matney officiating. Military honors will be presented by the DAV Chapter 141 of Belfry, KY following the service. Entombment will take place in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
