Ruby Jean Savage, 73, of Dans Branch; Williamson, WV went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY. Born February 21, 1952 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Lillie Varney Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Derry Savage, a sister, Betty Jo Moore, and a brother, Eddie Collins.
Ruby retired from Kroger’s having worked in the deli and as a cook. She was a dedicated member of the Micco Jesus Church.
Survivors include her children, Jay Savage of Williamson, WV, Melisa (Bryan) Ferrell of Belfry, KY, Stephanie Savage of Williamson, WV, Derry Dwayne Savage of Williamson, WV, and Regan Savage of Williamson, WV; two brothers, Floyd (Connie) Collins and Donald (Eula Mae) Collins both of Williamson, WV; four sisters, Phyllis Muncy, Dixie (Bill) Dingess, and Sandy Collins all of Logan, WV, and Shirley (Lawrence) Muncy of Columbus, OH, two grandchildren who were the sunshine of her life, Kiarra Savage and Kendyl Savage and two special little boys, Ashton Hensley and Xavier Hensley. Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Micco Jesus Church with Pastor Jimmy Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery at Dans Branch with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am Thursday at the Micco Jesus Church.
