Sandra Kaye (Davis) Coleman

Sandra Kaye Davis Coleman, 63, of Naugatuck, WV passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV from injuries received in a house fire.  Born February 19, 1960 in Naugatuck, WV, she was the daughter of the late Amos Davis Sr. and the late Helen Evans Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her longtime partner, Bill Workman, 2 daughters, Terri Angel Davis and Helena Ann Coleman, 2 brothers, Amos “Buster” Davis Jr. and Clifford Clinton Davis, and 2 sisters, Delores Faye Davis and Emma Davis. 

Kaye was a homemaker. 

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda (Jason) May of Hardy, KY, 3 grandchildren, Zachary Layne, Taylor Layne, and Nora Pyles, 5 brothers, Harold (Carlene) Davis of Lenore, WV, Samuel (the late Goldie) Davis of Mt. Sterling, KY, Bill (Bonnie) Davis of Kermit, WV, John (Barbara) Davis of Columbus, OH, and Walter (Barbara) Davis of Pilgrim, KY, 2 sisters, Helen Ruth (the late Jesse) Canterbury of Fort Gay, WV and Julie Davis of Kermit, WV.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.  Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Den Branch; Naugatuck, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the funeral home with services at 7:00 pm with Haskell Runyon Jr. and Gary Dove officiating.
