Shelia Ann (Lucas) Marcum

Shelia Ann Marcum, 66, of Lenore, WV passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 in the emergency room at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born March 11, 1956 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of Edith Manns of Lenore, WV and the late Andrew “Bud” Lucas.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Marcum, and her brother, Darrel Andrew “Pud” Lucas. 

Shelia was a homemaker and attended the Little Dove United Baptist Church and the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her longtime companion, David Ellis Hensley of Lenore, WV, her children, Cody (Kayla) Hensley of Naugatuck, WV, Brandon (Brandy) Marcum of Dans Branch, WV, and Chastity (Darren) Muncy of Turkey Creek, KY, her grandchildren, Mason, Lily, Emily, Carter, and McKenzie, her sister, Pam (Ernest) Woody of Dayton, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
