Terry "Rick" Michael Adkins

Terry "Rick" Michael Adkins, 66, of McCarr, KY and Jamboree, KY passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born June 30, 1954 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Denton and Bessie Sullivan Adkins.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Adkins, a son, Channing Adkins, and 2 brothers, Dale Adkins and David Adkins.

He was a former coal miner.

Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina (Brandon) Estep of McCarr, KY, his companion, Elsie Charles of Jamboree, KY, 3 sisters, Carolyn Sullivan (Robert) Daugherty, Linda (Kenis) McCoy, and Mary New all of Freeburn, KY, his grandchildren, Brandon (Saraih) Adkins, Kirsten Thompson, Megan Thompson, and Deborah Estep, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

The family has chosen cremation and no services will be held at this time.  A memorial service will be held and announced when scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family will final expenses.
