Thomas "Tommy" Ray Maynard

Thomas “Tommy” Ray Maynard, 56, of Hatfield, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday; June 21, 2026 at his home.  Born July 21, 1969 in South Williamson, KY, he was the son of the late Curtis and Kathern “Tootie” Hensley Maynard. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alene Runyon; a brother, Colbert “Buddy” Maynard; a sister-in-law, Jamie Maynard; and 2 brothers-in-law, Rev. Gary Runyon and Johnny Hanny.

Tommy was loved by everyone and he had unconditional love for everyone he met.  He was of the Christian faith. 

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Daryl Marie and Lynn Fields of Hatfield, KY,  who took wonderful care of Tommy for many years; sisters, Mary (Roger) Stepp and Faye Hanny both of Hatfield, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, David “Spanky” and Karen Maynard of Belfry, KY who were faithful over the years in helping with Tommy.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday; June 24, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Timmy Lucas officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery at Hatfield, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
