Tommy Dwayne Cox, 68, of Williamson, WV passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born July 9, 1951 in Logan, WV, he was the son of the late Leonard and Obie Cox.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters, May, Diana, Shirley, and Jackie.
Tommy was a former car salesman and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Sheppard Workman Cox of Williamson, WV, one son, Tommy (Sharon) Cox Jr. of Columbus, OH, two daughters, Tina Cox (Bernie) of Columbus, OH and April (Everett) Ward of Columbus, OH, two step-children, Jimmy (Linda) Workman of Marrowbone, WV and Katrina (Cecil) Ball of Canton, OH, one sister, Charlotte "Peachie" Adkins of Logan, WV, 3 brothers, a special nephew, Stevie Cox of Danville, WV, 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with his nephew, Stevie Cox, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarvis Cemetery at Winco Block; Williamson, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
