Tonda Ray (Hall) Thomas

Tonda Ray (Hall) Thomas, 58, of Delbarton, WV passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington, KY following a long term illness.  Born July 6, 1965 in Logan, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Gertie (Ooten) Hall. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Girdler, and a sister, Kimberly Lovejoy. 

Tonda was a homemaker and a member of the Duncan Fork House of Prayer where she enjoyed singing in church and teaching Sunday School.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Franklin Ray Lee Thomas and Dalton (Marissa) Thomas, a sister, Dwonee (Mark) Stone, a special niece she raised as her own, Samantha Jackson and her children, and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Duncan Fork House of Prayer with Pastor Roger Ooten officiating.  Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Duncan Fork with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Monday evening at the Duncan Fork House of Prayer with services at 7:00 pm.
