Vesta Louise (Noe) Smith

Vesta Louise Smith, 59, of Williamson, WV passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Trinity of Mingo Healthcare in Williamson, WV.  Born December 10, 1963 in Mingo County, WV, she was the daughter of Richard Marvin Noe of Newtown, WV and the late Delorse Irene Coleman Noe.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Damion Marshall Dillon, and three sisters, Karen Noe, Debbie Noe, and Teresa Noe. 

She held many jobs including working as a paralegal, a cab driver, and as a bus driver for the Mingo County Schools. She was of the Pentecostal faith. 

Survivors, in addition to her father, include her longtime companion, David Williamson Sr. of Williamson, WV, her daughter, Marsha Stacy of Williamson, WV, a son, Bruce Dillon of Williamson, WV, 11 stepchildren, five sisters, Barbara Diamond of Chattaroy, WV, Leigh Ann Noe of Delbarton, WV, Karen Sipple of TN, Kelly Gauze of Big Creek, KY, and Jennifer Hatfield of Matewan, WV, like a sister, Donna Newsome, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Earl White officiating.   In honoring her wishes, cremation will take place after the service. 

Visitation will from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
