Warren C. Davidson

Warren Davidson, 84, of Sevierville, TN formerly of Sidney, KY passed away peacefully Saturday, May 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Born April 26, 1939 in Gallia County, OH, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Eva Gail (Edwards) Davidson. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna Lois Davidson, a brother, Arthur Davidson, and three sisters, Helen Munford, Charlotte Hanning, and Katherine Gardner. 

Warren was a coal miner for 43 years and a member of the UMWA.  He loved spending time on the water fishing or just taking a leisurely ride on the lake with his best friend his jack russell, Shorty. Warren was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his three daughters, Helen (Eddie) Walters of Sidney, KY, Robin (Dallas) Francis of Hatfield, KY, and Ann (Jeff) Anderson of Pikeville, KY, one son, Keith Davidson of Sevierville, TN, three grandsons, Andrew (Staci) Francis of Hatfield, KY, Dwayne (Sandy) Walters of Sidney, KY, and Jeffrey Anderson of Pikeville, KY, one granddaughter, Suzanne (Chris) West of Sidney, KY, one great granddaughter, Presley West of Sidney, KY, and two great grandsons, Parker West of Sidney, KY and Kolten Francis of Hatfield, KY, two brothers, Alan Davidson and Danny Davidson, a special brother-in-law, Ron Hanning, and a host of nieces, nephews, half brothers, a half sister, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Dennis Smith Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery at Sidney, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home where services will be held at 7:00 pm.
