Wendy Lea Baisden

Wendy Lea Baisden, 40, of Morristown, TN formerly of Mingo County, WV left this earth way too soon on Friday, July 31, 2020, sadly a victim of domestic violence.  Wendy was very kind, compassionate, and loved life.  She loved spending time with her children and family.  Her death has left a deep void in many hearts and she will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by an aunt, Brenda Baisden Hall.

She leaves behind 2 beautiful children, Victoria Baisden and David Wisecup.  She is also survived by her mother, Jeannie Murphy and step-father Kenneth Murphy, her father, Arvil Martin and step-mother, Dolly Martin, her beautiful sisters, Rhonda Pope, Ashley “Cole” Shepherd, and Cheyenne Christian, her brothers, Derek Shepherd, Ricky Shepherd, Arvil Martin II, and Robert Bunt Martin, a step-brother, Timothy Cook, her maternal grandmother, Billie Adkins, maternal grandfather, James “Pig” Adkins, an uncle, Kenny Dials, her nephews she loved dearly, Lucas Robinette and Austin Pope, niece, Neveah Shepherd, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Curt Collins and Bro. Junior Dean officiating.  Burial will follow in the Duty Cemetery at Ragland, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Friday at 11:00 am for immediate family and at 12:00 pm for friends at the funeral home.
