William "Bill" Adkins

William “Bill” Adkins, 66, of Aflex, KY passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his home.  Born November 15, 1955 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of the late Ruley and Mahalia Doyle Adkins.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Bell Collins; 3 brothers, Douglas High Adkins, Lester Fred Adkins, and Charles Jim Adkins; a nephew, Logan Collins; and a great niece, Aubree Marie. 

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Adkins (Roger Thacker) of Aflex, KY; his brother, Oscar (Debbie) Adkins of Stone, KY; nieces, Rebecca Paige, Becky Kay, Kendra, Mary, and Christy; nephews, John, David, and Ruley; great nieces and nephews; Ashton, Preslee, Dustin, Denzil, Elliot, Cameron, Dyna, Dariona, Lanie, Ryan, Nathan, James, and George; like a sister, Destiny Adkins; and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Burnwell Gospel Revelation Tabernacle at Burnwell, KY with Pastor Delbert McCoy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV.

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Thursday evening at the church with services at 7:00 pm.
