William "Bill" Franklin Finley

William "Bill" Franklin Finley, 77, of Chattaroy, WV passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2022 at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV.  Born September 14, 1945 in Chattaroy, WV, he was the son of the late Arthur Julius and Tessie Marie Justice Finley.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Eloise Maynard and Nora Marie Wellman, and his brothers, Art Finley, Ron "Tubby" Finley, and 2 infant twin brothers.

Bill was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Gospel House Church at Taylorville, WV.

Survivors include a brother, Robbie Finley of Chattaroy, WV, 2 daughters, Tessie of Belo, WV and Kimberly of Ashland, KY, a special friend who was also his pastor, Rev. Haskell Runyon Jr. of Dans Branch, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In honoring Bill's wishes, cremation will take place.  A Memorial Service will be held from 6-9 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Gospel House Church at Taylorville, WV with service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Haskell Runyon Jr. officiating.
