Wilma Jean (Blankenship) Miller

Wilma Jean Miller, 65, of Logan, WV formerly of Beech Creek, WV passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.  Born April 24, 1957 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Mack Blankenship and Ruth “Bun” Blankenship Chafin. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Miller. 

Wilma was of the Church of Christ faith and was a retired certified nurse’s aide from Appalachian Regional Healthcare of South Williamson, KY.  She loved and took pride in her job and the many patients she cared for over her 20+ year career. 

Survivors include 4 children, Joe Miller of Williamson, WV, Jon Miller of Matewan, WV, Mark (Trina) Miller of Trinity, NC, and Kathy (Buddy) Stidham of Logan, WV, a brother, Michael (Nancy) Blankenship of Ben Creek, WV, a sister, Michelle (Barry) Horn of Inez, KY, 18 grandchildren, Trey, Cody, Seger, Ryder, Andrew, Bryonna, Jasmine, Lexi, Zachariah, La’Tia, Jo’Niyah, Zayden, Olivia, Ember, Brittany, Marissa, Briar, and Luke, 2 great-grandchildren, Wade and Kaylynn, and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Archie Kevin Blankenship officiating.  Burial will follow in the Grover Kennedy/Mahon Cemetery at Beech Creek, WV with family members serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
